However I fear this will open up a whole new can of worms --
If a mod is either a performer or a customer.. power could be abused. Im not quite sure how exactly.. but yeah.
Obviously with a model being a mod (unless it were distinctly kept anonymous that they were) it is unnecessary advertisement for them .. and could even harm their sales.
A customer with no affiliation to the company with little formal 'requirements' for the job could abuse the power --
Unless we are content with putting up with not up-to-par 'moderating service', VS would have to include the job in a payroll of some type-- which I dont see them doing.
Anyway............... I read in to things too much but im just saying I don't think it should be just anyone :P (out of fear for biased opinions) /images/_common/forums/emoticons/' }

Most active Forums have 1 administrator and several Moderators as needed for traffic .
Posters who abuse are usually given a "Time out" for a few days or banned if the offence if great or repeated minor offences .
1 model who is too arrogant has goton bad publicity from models and members both . It reflects very badly to THIS site to allow someone to continue . He made about 100 posts in 1 hour . Previous pasts included profanity and flaming of BOTH models and members .
I vote yes to a Moderator as soon as possible !

This is alittle 
but in regards to a moderator they do need to be available to the model rooms again.It was brought to my attention ,by a model,that she can no longer ban a register user.I'm not sure if this was a certain studio's decision or if this policy is being used for every studio.I've already seen what can happen on a couple of ocassions and it ain't pretty.Inmates should never run the prison.

the rush and flow of the various implementations of 'Admins' / 'Moderators' / 'Green Uglies' on cam sites is amazing to have watched over time. *counts the huge number of times the situation has changed over the history of adult chat on 2.5 hands* and that's only what i've experienced and what i've listened to my old old friends whisper about in the now non-existant Lobby. *sigh*
but.. hmmm i think the model ban (24 hour) mute button (umm 15 minutes or so the last time i looked) and a few good people in Customer Support on certain shifts (((Miguel))) seem to have proven to fill the need without collapsing ALL of the rude/agressive/rowdy stuff that needs to be kept in the 'flow'. hmmmm yeah i think that's where i am with all of it. now.. if we could just TOTALLY get rid of the text censor software.. for heaven's sake.. this is adult chat *giggling*/images/_common/forums/emoticons/' }
