In everyday life, a tip is a financial reward given after a service is performed, such as tipping a waiter or bartender after you've been served. On F4F, the word "tip" has come to mean credits given to a model even if he has done nothing to earn them. For example, we are asked to tip a model to meet a a shift quota or help him win a contest and financial prize. Such "tips" are actually donations or contributions.
Over the years, i have read many comments from members upset a model did nothing after receiving a tip. It was a contribution, because the moment it was sent, the member lost leverage in the transaction. Sure, some models have tip goals and promise to perform when a set amount of credits are received. But those tip goals have devolved into "make me happy" and smiley face emojis rather than any behavior worth tipping. Those are donations, not tips.
We cannot change model behavior, but we can change our own. Tip after something is done that is worth a reward. You decide what that is and how much. Use your credits to pay for multi-user and private shows where you get something for your money. If you don't, then end the show and email support. If you feel like giving to charity, then support a fundraising contest, but understand it is a donation, not a tip.

I usually pay a tip and then ask the model to do something. Most of them do. Some don't. I never visit them again. Some will ask more tips to do it. Depending on what I ask I will determine at that moment . Sometimes I will pay what they asked and sometimes I will just leave the room and never visit them again. I don't like models asking for tips in the middle of a private session. I am already paying by the minute. I think I don't have tip them during the show. After the show, if I am very happy, I will tip them./images/_common/forums/emoticons/' }

I haven't been here that long, but I've also noticed several models asking for increasingly large amounts of tips during private shows, and insisting that I give them to get even the most basic of things, like shirt off or trousers off (forget about anything stronger, where the asked-for amount of additional tips skyrockets). Problem for me is that I like these guys, but I'm finding it hard to visit them because they expect more from me than I can give, and their 'sticker price' isn't the real cost. /images/_common/forums/emoticons/' }

very true of what some have said above, it is true that some ask for more and more credits after one has given them, or during pvt they ask for cr, I did not support or visit those models, neither do those who put emojis in the party goal or things like this. That's why I prefer to take them to a group show or pvt/images/_common/forums/emoticons/' }
